What is my photography style?

I would say my style is a mixture of candid and "posed". I am not an overly "posed" photographer, but help make your family look natural together and connected. No awkward straight lines with arms hanging or wondering what to do with your hands. I will lead and guide as much or as little as needed. I'm not the photographer to make sure everyone's head is leaning just right and everyone is posed absolutely perfect, before snapping the shot. It's always a toss up who expires first, the toddler or the dad, haha but honestly they expire quickly. I am efficient and have a plan and outline for each session to maximize our time together and the amount of images I can capture in a short time.

Of course the big goal of every session is everyone looking and smiling at the camera (don't worry! I'll do my very best to get this). But even more so, the in between moments of laughter, hugs, and holding hands are the photos you come back to as favorites. I love documenting genuine interactions with you and your kids, because those are the memories you want forever. From start to finish, I want your experience to be relaxed, natural, and easy. I want you to look back and be so grateful you had your pictures taken and cherish the memories for a lifetime.
